We Can Help Software FAQ Platforms of Clients A Central Database Flexible
Summary
This is a graphic view of how the ASP version of Clients runs across the internet.

Application Service Provider Model (ASP)

  1. The client data resides in a SQL Database called ClientsPrime on a secure SQL
Server. There can be custom SQL tables for offices that allow unique calendaring, case
numbers and defaults. No data transfers are necessary.

  2. The CFWPrime.MDB front-end resides on a Citrix Server. There is one CFW front-end
and either a runtime or full copy of Access for each user of the program located in each
user profile on the Citrix Server

  3. Nothing resides on the User's Workstation except the ICA client (Independent Computing
Architecture) that allows the User's computer to use the case management system through
the browser. The workstation can be Windows, Unix, Linux, Macintosh or Windows CE.

  4. Connections to the system occur through the internet browser. Bandwidth requirements
  are 12-20K per user.

  5. The speed of the system is determined by the computers at the ASP, NOT the computers
that are using it via a browser.
