1. The ABC's of Case Management
From A - Agency Referrals to Z - Special Program Tables, Clients has an enormous number of features and functions. It's possible to not be aware that a needed function exists or forget that it's there in the first place. This session lays out the functions and components of Clients and explains what they do. This allows administrators and users to find solutions to their day-to-day needs.
2. Inputting Data- Clients, Eligibility, Time Keeping & Calendaring
Case Management gathers a large amount of information. This session will show the different ways that this information is gathered. Learn how to add information and use the features on the intake sheets. Learn how to manage your cases, time, and schedule events.
3. Using the Search Screens
Search Screens are the most used feature in case management. Learn how to use these screens to find a client, a group of clients, a time slip or any other record you need. The Search screens have become so powerful that they also act as mini-report writers.
4. Introduction to Reporting
Raw lists of clients aren’t of much use. Learn about the vast number of ways you can change the data into information that you can use to manage your caseload.
5. Document Management - The Basics
Generating form letters, document tracking, and document assembly are all possible inside case management. Learn where and how to perform these functions.
6. Error Checking
Information is only as good as the data it comes from. Insure that your case management reflects reality. Learn how the person responsible for case management can check accuracy and run error-checking reports to find the errors in data.
7. Prime and Outlook Together
Prime and Outlook can work together. Learn how they work and how to insure your setup allows them to talk to each other.
8. Available Reports in Prime
Code Many times users create custom reports because they are not aware that the report they need currently exists in Prime. This session will preview the 500+ reports in Prime and show users how to locate and use them.

Search screens have advanced features and can be modified to fit your needs. Change the default fields. Display fields from the client’s record on the Conflict Detail Search. Use the multi-criteria search on the Lawyers and Agency Screens, etc.
10. Troubleshooting VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)
Code is what runs the case management program behind the scenes. Learn where it is and how it works. Learn how to read the code and how to ‘REM’ out things that you don’t want to have happen.

'Make Table' Queries can preserve information or combine it for other applications or uses. The 'Immediate IF' function can create reports that otherwise seem impossible.

19. Private Bar Involvement
Coordinating both low fee and free panels of private attorneys can be a handful. Learn how to use case management to track the cases of volunteer and paid (judicare) lawyers. See how the system will keep track of the bills from the compensated lawyers and the payments made to them.

Using the same SQL data structure as Prime Version 8, we've built a true web based version of our case management system. Review its features and determine if it has some of the features your program wants.
25. The Improved Interview System
Efficient and thorough interviews are critical to successful advocacy. Learn how to conduct an interview, create and edit questions, add programmed responses to questions, create and edit advice, associate questions and advice records with appropriate NatIndx and Problem Codes, create a custom question list, view previous interviews of the subject, and associate previous interviews of the subject to a current case number.
26. Working with SQL Server

27. Changes to the Case Statistical Reports
The changes to the CSR (case statistical reports) will affect programs, even those that aren't funded by LSC. Review those changes and what you'll have to do to adopt your system to deal with the new problem codes, the new closing codes and the new reporting requirements.
28. The Upkeep Tab
The Upkeep Tab is where many modifications and changes to the system are made. These changes include adding records, such as funding codes, controlling security, such as passwords, and setting many options in the program.
29. The Today Screen
The Today Screen is almost a separate interface to your data, allowing you to quickly get to the things you need. It has many functions built in, such as open cases, an Outlook view of the Calendar, frequent reports, a quick way to get to project management, and the tickle system.
